About the Project
Junat Kartalla ("Trains on the Map") is an independent project designed to make train travel easier, faster, and more reliable across multiple countries.
What started as a personal passion project has grown into one of Finland's most popular tools for tracking live train locations. My goal is to provide commuters and travelers with a clean, fast, and accessible interface to view real-time schedules and train movements everywhere.
The Developer
I am a software developer based in Finland. I built this platform because I believe public transport data should be easy to use for everyone. I actively maintain the web and mobile apps to ensure stability and accuracy for thousands of daily users.
